No. No better. A corner anything takes up significantly more space than the same item on a straight run. From what I can see of the island, it's dysfuctional as well. Angles waste space. Double height seating areas waste usable prep space. Too many large appliances do not leave enough usable work space. It might look ''interesting'' but what good is that if it doesn't work to actually prepare a meal in?

@corner Stone designs. sorry if I had given an impression it mud slinging. but objectively speaking the suggestion to go for a chimney just because someone asked for it instead of addressing the real issue us not what I intended to do. one has to understand all the negatives as well veggie going in for a decision . just like you have the right to suggest there is nothing wrong in pointing out the issues in the proposed solution. none of us are internet warriors but most of us are "sold" items that we will never need in our life by creating an illusion. I know that dinner call it business but I am not in such one and I have the luxury to call a spade a spade. Hello Abinash, The size and measurements of sofa depends on the piece being selected or made, the seat is usually 16-19 inches high. Note that the seats facing the TV are not having a back support as per the plan or 3 d render. You may want to reconsider this as it is not very comfortable to watch the TV without a back support. For the other end of the sofa hope the TV clamp is movable. You may try the home trial of sofa from Urban ladder and Pepper fry and see how different sofa will look in your house.
