Design Dilemma Living Room Furniture

Suggestions needed for sofa design ( elevation)

The sofa design was given by my architect. But it's a plan. I am concerned about it's elevation for a contemporary look, what should the seating height, sofa back height, clearance below the sofa . As u can see the TV unit height also mentioned which is arround 18" from the floor surface.
FYI: the living space is not very large (pics attached)
I prefer the sofa in the 3d design photo rather than the plan given.

Hello Abinash,

The size and measurements of sofa depends on the piece being selected or made, the seat is usually 16-19 inches high.

Note that the seats facing the TV are not having a back support as per the plan or 3 d render. You may want to reconsider this as it is not very comfortable to watch the TV without a back support. For the other end of the sofa hope the TV clamp is movable.

You may try the home trial of sofa from Urban ladder and Pepper fry and see how different sofa will look in your house. They serve in metros as of now.

They do charge a nominal fee for this service. Guess some 400 for upto 4 sofas.

back support is less cos there is an entrance door there.

Respected Sir, as i can see..there is no way for water to go down the way.so please give a slope over there ..in form of a sloping roof or just a slight slope. than all is okay. and there as you wont face any leakage problem by the roof.
