suggestion for replacing the mirror
Hi I wanted to change the mirrors which are on the both of the sides of the tv unit.Any suggestions?Not looking to put a wallpaper

In One such house in Gujarat, Muninder and Bishakha coloured the old sofa set with whtie (The sofa is like yours) and changed the centre table. Interestingly, the family also had your kind of sofa set and they also want some modern style. The architect duo did not changed the sofa, just changed the colour. Comments (5)Hello Neetu, Trying to explain the suggestions earlier made with an image. See if the following space makes the space more usable and open. Please see the numbers marked on the attached image. 1- Open up Dressing Area. No need of closing it. 2& 3 Pull out the Porch and increase the room size. 4- Change the direction of toilet, increase the size and include handwash within it. 5 Open Living area will comfortably seat 6-8 people. 6,7 - If your designer agrees this will allow you to increase the room sizes. by 20 odd ft. 8- Close the kitchen door . Comments (13)It looks like a small room to me. I cant suggest a placement plan with knowing the plan. But some tips I guess may work for the corner. 1 . Use no temple. 2, use Dias and Mirror 90' Degree on the walls. to reflect idol in the mirror. 3, Many small one medium size Idol is better than too large one or two many small ones. 4. I think the mirrors are looking stunning but since you don't like them you can try out some cnc cut jali or may be add a touch of brass patti with leather panelling.

4 years agoThank you for the suggestions.Wanted to remove The mirrors since I feel they are giving the entire room a bit dull look.Also I would like any suggestion over what kind of dinning table will look good and in what colour combination.I was thinking of veneer lamination as the base with marble top and fabric chairs.Been confused with the colour combination.I am posting the wall behind the dinning table for reference

I feel marble again on the table will be too much as you already have it on wall as well on the floor. Break the monotonous look by using a nice walnut veneer or a back painted glass table top. For chairs you can go with soft blue fabric, tan orange or a mustard colour. You can also try a striped fabric on chair if you like.
