Guys added the entire floor plan , the kitchen as per " vaastu shastra" has to be in tat corner only , pls suggest how to make it more attractive !

Hi, did you said something about a fixed full length window in the middle wall. Which wall are you talking about? I mean, I saw the one aside the entrance door, but I'm not sure that's the wall you need help with. Could you explain me? Maybe I can help you with your kitchen project, greetings!

How about zooming in on the part that is the kitchen and doing another screenshot? This image is very small, and it's hard to see what is what.

Kitchen zoomed in !!! Guys the wall opposite to kitchen entrance is the one that has the window , we need to keep that window full length in order to keep the elevation symmetrical :-) thanks gor keeping up with my picture uploading skills

Vastu Shashtra aside (yes, I had to Google that), this is a bit of an awkward place to put you kitchen, both because of your full-length window, and also because that is the only external wall. Venting cooking fumes is much easier if the cooker is located on an external wall.

Can you give us an idea of how your family uses its kitchens? Do you love to bake, do friends stand around and chat whilst you're cooking dinner?

What's happening to the open space in front of the stairwell? Do you really want your kitchen opening onto it?

Hi , I think if ever you want to sell this property in the future - you will need to follow Vastu guidelines in the design at this point - otherwise this may hinder resale. Assuming that the architect has followed this and the plan is set - I would suggest you use colours and artwork to create the look that you are after ...
Also consider shelving going across the full window wall - this will give you extra storage and also somewhere to grow herbs etc in front of the window - maybe even have a deeper shelf at worktop height and a stool infront of the window ?
If you do a picture search on elements that you would like to add - ie kitchen "turquoise accessories" or kitchen "gold" etc you will get lots of inspirational images to help you get an attractive kitchen ... Best of luck with it all ! :-)

May I suggest to think where the drainage is; the sink under the window frees up the wall where the sink is shown now for better use. This would still allow the triangle of sink-cooker-fridge. Can you duct the cooker extract to the outside wall or up?

Ginger , love the way u put across ur thoughts ; but just as yoga had a very few takers in west some years ago and then it became the inn thing same will happen for " vaastu" let one celebrity endorse it

Ha ha, my Granny was a keen yoga practitioner into her 90s - I'm sure it's what helped her reach 102!
