@OnePlan Thanks for the input. I liked the idea of serving as well as snack eating area. @Dytecture Yes, we are adding a second level, which would have 3 bedrooms, some gym area and a pantry. But we will get it designed after the ground level is finalized. We have thought to add 2 bedrooms (above the existing bedrooms at ground level) along with some outer balcony in the back area. 1 more bedroom above the kitchen. Gym area above the mezzanine floor at ground level (which also has small store in basement). Open terrace above the parking. We are more confused about the exit to the back (Parking) which is currently from the master bedroom. Also, if any of the room can be shifted elsewhere, instead of two adjoining rooms.

May i know the entry side and the margins on the two sides to be left. front and the side. ( i mean how much length in feet inches should be left on the two sides). you can look at the neighbouring duplex or bunglow to get the exact understanding of the margins. other things can be designed accordingly. i have a rough thought about the design... attached herewith....

Yeah @Isuru. @Rajesh, For the open kitchen you need to consider few points 1) Your cooking pattern--- The kitchen cooking aroma will spread in the whole house . Understand the intensity and think twice. 2) The place should or must always be clean as its open . 3) There is no service area or wash area provided in the kitchen. 4) Access from porch is as good as one of the main entrance passage for outsider, if the guest is entering from there, you will have to consider to keep it presentable all the time. There are so many points to consider while making or designing as open kitchen and your kitchen is nearby the main entrance. So please think considering all the points and decide.
