@SV interior designer, dear I have the pictures uploaded. Hope you find it. Colors is something I am considering yes, but no glasses. Wish to leave it open...

One thing that I am surely positive about is to get some battery fitted led lights (small ones) in each box, since I did not consider it when this cabinet was made. How about some acrylic stickers to enhance the light from the LEDs which can increase the light with some effects. I can then think of adding some showpieces...Wat say guys???

if you want to go with light here is something you can do..

Your cabinet is designed well. Even we believe it should look good without adding extra/unnecessary lights to it, but you can choose to put at least one spotlight in the ceiling which would light up the unit.

My suggestion would be to change its looks. You can choose to simply put a metallic border, or simply paint it white. You may also consider closing some parts of the shelf by putting new doors with new laminate on them. And most importantly declutter it. In open shelves/blocks put only decor items or books, the rest of the things you could choose to hide in the door blocks.

it would be better to keep it open and treat it with husky colours because the outer profile is wooden so total redesign may cost you more just think about it

@Luxerior. Thanks for your suggestion. Little late for the ceiling light now, I just got battery operated round leds installed in each box. It works with remote, can get dim and with timer. So very cool. I am surely going for metallic border now. I really liked that idea.

All the stuff that is there will go out and I will put some showpieces.

I am also thinking of, rather than getting color laminates at the back, covering the leds with solid colored see thru plastic sheet (mostly used for gift wrapping). That ways I can highlight few boxes with reds, greens blues. Tried red and it looked something
