I like the ceiling. I think the hanging lights are too fancy and distract from the ceiling decor. A simpler light would look better or sticking with the canned lights you have. The walls have too many big, black things on them. It's hard to tell if they are windows with shade --- in which case I'd pick something lighter, perhaps to echo the ceiling, TVs (how many do you need?) or what. I'd consider a big piece of statement art in the place of at least one. If you're on a budget, get a large, high quality photo in the right colors, you can take it yourself. Sepia and black architectural might work. I like more color and more natural light. You may have closed the shades for a better picture, so it's hard to comment on the light, plus windows are a feature of your room, not exactly a decorator's choice. I would consider how to get a few small pops of color in, pillows, flowers, candles, maybe even a runner rug along the right wall. If you are doing this as part of a portfolio, the entire ensemble would look more welcoming with a few touches like someone lives there. Something on the coffee table, for example. A few books and a candle. A tray with tea things, a vase of flowers or basket of fruit. Pick one or two things and make it composed. You see this a lot in designer Houzz photos. Hi Maam/Sir, I would recommend you to share a better perspective pic of your room where the ceiling is also visible because if a room does not have enough of natural lighting then some artificial effect like a false ceiling treatment would really give a great boost to the look and feel of your space. I would also suggest you to follow a concept like i can see there are a lot of varied colorscheme happening in your room so changing a curtain will not be much help. You should find the right patterns maybe like adding some pastels or i can see that some red or maroon color is involved in your room so try to match the lighter version of these elements. Thanks Nitin and Ideal Lifestyle. Sorry for the late reply, I don't know why my net is not working properly from the last few days. Ny way, I actually see the foating kitchen cabinet in google image. May be that it not good for our Indian kitchen. I love the drawyer system that offered in modular kitchen cabinet. But at the same time I have no patience to dry the the kitchenware (cookware/dish etc.) after washing. Now we put it on the steel dish rack (commonly visible in Indian kitchen) hanged in our wall after every wash, which no need to first dry and then store. But I want to conceal the dishes, pressure cookers, kadhais in drawyers. In my dream kitchen big kitchenware should be concealed, hanging cookware like saucepan, tawa, frying pan would hang on s hooks in railing and open shelve for the dry goods in glass/tin/ceramic jar.

Thanks for both of your responses CUBSpaces team and Shweta from Shades studio. It really gives a clarity about possible consequences. I am now doubt free about changing whole things in Bathroom as it will be interconnected. However will appreciate your opinion on few things: 1. Kitchen wall tiles: I have those from countertop height to roof(almost area of 6X15 feet) which are good and not hollow. I changed countertop 5 years back without any damage to these tiles. It might cost me another 10-15 K, but I feel the whole process and quantity of wasting old good tiles makes me little sad. 2. kitchen countertop: Made new around 5 years back. I don't expect to get it all intact. But large pieces can be cut and can be used as top for other freestanding structures like dishwasher, front load washer, heighten base cabinets, etc. 3. Plywood: I don't mind giving enough labour charges for old sheets recycle. I am planning to use doors, loose sheets(like kept on bed frame of settee frame.) or parts of big frames like settee. I am keen on reducing waste than to save money. You can see various DIY ideas by western people, who remove or sand laminates and re-paint furniture, or carefully remove hollow tiles and re-attach them. Some are also re-painting ceramic tiles. I am just asking myself: Are we creating more and more waste by use and throw approach every 10-15 years, just because we can afford it?
