This way, it gets down to the floor along a surface that people cannot see as opposed to dangling through the hollow portion of the table.

Hi Deepak, Neighboring noises can be annoying, especially night. I would advise the same, go for u-PVC windows, that will help in maximum noise reduction. As I can see in image, a full-length curtain indicating probable full window or door. You should go for u-PVC window/door for that too.
