Need a new look for windows
Comments (35)softyjain, If the windows need to be replaced I recommend looking at fixed steel to maintain the narrow profile of the windows and small window lites. Using fixed instead of operating will be a cost savings if you don't need to open them. Another option for hanging from the ceiling is a decorative light or chandelier. That way you still have light into your ceiling at night. We offer Renaissance solid bronze windows that don't require any finish or finish maintenance. Architects designers love the rose bronze color, which closely matches copper gutters. http://www.houzz.com/projects/152134/Renaissance-Solid-Bronze-Windows---Doors-by-Progressive-Solutions You may also be interested in this ideabook- http://www.houzz.com/ideabooks/18543834/thumbs/Bronze--Copper---Steel-Window-Ideas...See Moreneed help with my room plzz help !

Comments (76)HI RinaI do agree I love jewelbox rooms, but I consider them more cosy ... and with a grey marble floor it goes all Versace Italianate! I am trying to balance the colours by bringing in a pattern on the covers rather than plain. I feel this will bring colour without overpowering the room. In the pictures I showed above, the rooms are basically neutral but the colour is brought in via pattern - I think this might be the way to go...Ideally a green or blue on a subdued grey would be the best, but I dont know what the market is like for Sumit...Cushions can do a lot to tie in the other white/grey elements.Shelley - navy is a good suggestion, but as Sumits area is quite tall and thin, trying to keep the general area light Any more suggestions most welcome. These are just ideas after all and Sumit will choose what works for the room in the end ;-)...See Morewant suggestion
Comments (3)My first suggestion would be to change the layout of the room at bit. this is my suggestion:i also think that you should paint the room in a uniform light colour (preferable white) and also paint the wardrobe in the same colour so it doesn't overpower the entrance and blend in with the room. my second most important suggestion is to increase storage. here are some ideas for that: simple plank shelves with filing boxes and folders with labels can be a cheap and efficient way of storage of study material. here are some links for such folders and boxes: https://www.amazon.in/Elan-Bookshelf-Executive-Certificates-Certificate/dp/B00HWRHKOS/ref=pd_sbs_79_11?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=BQE8PBQNYQYXHHDEBAVQ https://www.amazon.in/Corpac-Multipurpose-Durable-Plastic-Storage/dp/B01GBBHT1E/ref=pd_sbs_229_40?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=1CC92M79MCJDPWBD53H9 https://www.amazon.in/Aristo-Basket-Medium-Without-Multi/dp/B06WGR811H/ref=pd_sim_229_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=JD75V1WW64930CV4NG69 Also the sunlight is the biggest asset of the room and yet the aluminium window is an eyesore. so i would suggest some nuetral shade curtains. and you can play with the colors of the room with the bedsheets. And agree with studio chippan's suggestion of a painting or a family portrait or frame certificates of the kids achievements. Best of Luck, Purva Saksena (Architect)...See More- 7 years ago
