Hi Ni, I just thought of something....did you say you planned to do the stencil motifs on the window wall? If so, I am thinking they will be mostly hidden by the curtains. I wonder if it might be better to stencil the long wall that is on the right side of the room when looking toward the window. I could see this being a pretty backdrop to the prayer box (I think that’s what you called it?) and your wood cuttings. Then maybe the opposite wall (the one with the kitchen doorway) could hold a large piece of art?

I have some suggestions if you are thinking budget friendly changes. Make a photo gallery with different size frames and arrange them parallel to the stairs, so you can enjoy each photo as you climb up. And for the area that will be on a level with your upper floor, try some pretty decal that will connect the photo gallery to upper level. And last, if you have budget add some beautiful hanging lights in the stairwell. Also think about repositioning your refrigerator.

Hey Himani, Tieing a room together is not a matter of one item that has all the elements. At present, your room looks well put together. when we are trying to pull a room together, the trick is to use different elements (such as pillow, showpieces, plants, rugs curtains, table lamps etc) which have those elements repeated. For example, the colour and texture of the wallpaper could be repeated on the opposite side with art. The bed and the wardrobes look like a perfect match.
