I agree whole heartedly. I also agree on starting with the bed. The bed should be the "hero" of the room. Night stands are always needed, but even they do not need to match. Then figure out exactly what you NEED for storage in the bedroom. There is no rule that you have to own a dresser if you store all of your clothes in the closet. Will you have a TV in the room? How do you plan to view it? From a sitting area, in bed? A sideboard with storage or a media center may be a better choice for you. Do you have a seating area, or at least a chair you can sit on and tie youe shoes or put on socks. Buy furniture for your specific needs, buy the best quality for the work horse pieces you can afford. Don't forget lighting, and a mirror of some sort. Look at the photos of Master Bedrooms here on Houzz, you'll get an inspiration for mixing and maybe land on a style that appeals to you. I had purchased hafele hob 10 months back... I got it serviced 6 times... Now i requested for replacement with new one... Still they have not attended my request...

I am looking for Glass Hob, Vertical Glass Chimney and Built In Oven. I am getting mixed feedback across different forums so thought to reach here (impressed with some of the pointed comments so far). I am planning to choose between Bosch, Elica, Hafele and Faber. Can anyone please help ? I need to finalize it in next 3-4 days. I am purely going by the brand name (plus my previous experience with Bosch) so preferred the following 1). Bosch Glass Hob 2). Bosch Built In Oven (though it has aluminium burner but the one with brass burner 'Hafele/Elica' has the problem of making utensils black) 3). For chimney they do not offer 60cm Filter less chimney hence thinking to choose between Hafele or Elica. Please suggest if this is the right choice. Thanks in advance
