actually i cant move the dining table close to the kitchen as tahst the main entrance to our house.if i put dining table in that area,the entry would look congested.the rooms adjoining it are gallery which leads to mastre bedroom and another bedroom.

I think the L shape sofa will look good, with the corner of L placed where you have the Ganesha Idol. you can also place a bench on the opposite side with some colorful cushions on it. It will give you a contrast look and a antique touch to the hall. You can place the Idol elsewhere in the hall, may be just opposite the door ttowards the call. so that whoever enters from that door feels nice/good. I have selected light colors for your hall because your hall has dark color wood work and its making the hall dark. Light color makes your room more bright as you have lot of sunshine coming from the door and windows . Apologies Pro, for speaking on her behalf but I guess she is referring to the alignment of the sofa and TV unit and the viewing angle. If the sofa is placed on the orange wall it has to be done after leaving the door space where as TV is place very near to the wall. Secondly, it will be too much of a viewing distance. Vinay, Since you have hired a professional, not sure how much of below will make any sense. This is a tall-boi room and the windows and doors height add to it. You have quite a good exterior view with surrounding greenery but the messy grills have kind of killed that view. You may have to always use sheer to hide them and coupled with earthen colored curtains. Plain bland white walls is another thing you may want to reconsider. Without going into too much details, a clean contemporary look for this place would be best suited. The ceiling lighting doesn't seem sufficient for a 14*15 room and I feel there is too much of wood on the ceilings even in the other parts of the house.
