Yes will stick to white for all other sides of the room. one is full glass with curtains, the other is behind the sofa, a plain wall as of now with no art or anything, this is just opposite to the brick wall. The 4th side is the foyer and a small wall with a artsy clock. The living area is more an open plan, that leads to dining on one side. I am looking for wall art ideas too. I create my own art for the home, I have not gone commercial, just do some art for friends too when they ask as gifts :-). We are changing all the furniture in this room, including the softa. have ordered recliners in light brown color, A square center table with stools underneath, and a side small curio/book shelf. Hi! I'm so glad I came across your floor plan, got pretty excited and ideas started flooding. Firstly, I'm uploading a draft of a floor plan I made as a rough copy (with a pencil and a paper), so kindly excuse the imperfections. (please refer to the picture I've posted along with this.) Secondly, as you mentioned, you would want to include the balcony in your seating area, I recommend you to break the wall and instead use French windows to allow the light within and it'll also feel very open. Then, about the kitchen, as you said you wouldn't want a large dining area, you could take that space for an open kitchen, where the counter also serves as the dining space from the outside. And since, the kitchen would be made towards the direction of the arrow pointed (refer to the pic) we get ample space to make a Pooja room. And to give an enclosed feel to the living room I chose and L shaped couch for it. I would suggest you to go for a mounted TV on a rotatable stand on the wall so that its accessible from anywhere across the room. Having done that, we are still left with some space (marked with a circle in the pic ) which could be used to put some more seats for the living room OR... (THIS IS MY FAV PART IN A HOUSE!) you could also use that space to mount a swing from the top. There were few more probabilities to do this house, but I genuinely found this one to be the best, coz I'm a huge fan of open spaces, and it's a good layout a lot of things could be done with it. Hi, Rajendra, there are three way of doing, firstly what you have chosen is go minimalist with all white, here you will have to add colors by decorating wall or adding a symbolic decor or art mural/painting which will bring you a joy while working. but if you neglect the importance of art work, the kitchen will be boring to use after 6 months of use. as we enjoy spices in our food , so do our eyes enjoy a sense of catchy colors too. second will be adding a contrast in with back splash with a back painted tempered glass or corian, this woks wonders. third, with the color of your choice, which will be permanent in the cabinate, but gives you a fresh sense to the whole kitchen, little color here and there will attract your eye and you'll appreciate your own choice/selection again and again.

Yes sure ... we did something which I believe is a club of various ideas and expertise.. Though incomplete now , I will post what we have done till now. First we have around 8 feet appox glass 12 mm between the pillars. secondly we have three boxes 27" in height with focus halogens at the bottom. Now we will decorate these boxes with glass pebbles for awesome reflective / color effect. -I do need idea on what fillers can be used which will make me buy less glass pebbles ..else i would need at least 30kg plus of these pebbles. Thirdly we will now have glass film behind these 3 tall glasses to make it quite attractive and something which will look better with or without light. The idea is to add some golden plants in the middle i.e golden leaves and branches etc. -I would like more input on what films would look great behind these pillars. Or any other idea. I will definitely post once we are done with it.
