Please suggest ways to decorate this living cum dining room.

I need some detailed tips (maybe with pictures)
from professionals about how to decorate this
room in a way that it looks THE BEST. The
dimensions are 16×9.3 ft inches. Also, tell if the positions of
the furniture needs to be changed. None of the
furnished items can be removed, though they can
be modified and also items can be added or even
replaced. Advice colours and designs for curtains
and Sofa and the perfect position of the
Dining Table and the temple. My house is of 120
yards and has 2 Bedrooms, 1 Hall and Kitchen.
Please suggest another place for the temple in the
house. I hope that you all will help me. Thanks.
I cannot afford an interior designer so I request you to provide your advice here on this forum. My budget is strictly between 90 thousand to 1 lac. False Ceiling has already been done. I have also shared the room plan below.

Comments (66)OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. Comments (4)first of all i think u have a nice large space to begin with. We can create an L-shaped partition extending towards space where u have kept the dining table. Sowe get a lare space for L- shaped sofa. The TV unit can be where the diwan is right now.with a pendicularly placed showcase / bookshelf which also acts as a space divider. the space beyond that can be utilised for the diwan or a day bed which can be the family space . the dining table to be placed in the center of the room with circulation space all around. Comments (0)I've inherited this house and started some renovation work. My problem is how to decorate the living cum dining area. The colour palette in my mind is beige and orange as The highlight. On wall 1 I would like to put the tv. But I don't how how to arrange my chairs and sofa and the dining table which we r yet to buy. The 4th wall shows the kitchen door.
