All 4 have their own pros and cons. AAC, CLC and fly ash bricks are low in weight compared to clay bricks. Clay bricks are locally available. AAC and CLC block also ensure thermal insulation. Fly ash bricks are not suitable for cold weather. Depending on the location of the plot, easy availability of material you can choose among above four. Although I say, you can go with AAC blocks.
thank you Neelam for the reply. am also inclined towards AAC blocks due to their thermal insulation but can they be used in the whole house construction or in combination with other bricks? (load bearing)
Hi Abhi, Using both will result in variation of load. Only structural engineer can guide you regarding that. However it is advisable to use either AAC or brick throughout.
AAC Blocks also can be cut in to any shape but.. clay bricks are proven as a long life material and is cooler then fly ash. Some extra protection also can make clay bricks more water proof and flawless
