Many people these days opt for puja room in guest bedrooms, due to limitation of other spaces. Since living room while entertaining guests there is alcohol consumption, non veg food, dancing, so it could be more disgraceful than a guest room. So, I guess that's fine. I am suggesting the bed on the west wall (the headrest on West Wall) so that you are facing the east (that's Vastu compliant). The bed goes where the wardrobe currrently is. The temple on the North wall with the Gods facing South or West wall with Gods facing east. Rest you could add a bench under the window for seating while enjoying the sunlight and a console on the South wall.

I feel partitions are not needed. You already have too much for the space. Adding a partition will shrink the space further. The simplistic solution, you do not wish to discard any furniture would be to paint all the walls in lighter pastles. And use some wall painting frames to highlight certain walls.

Its just really messy right now. Too many colours and clashing prints. Is that Puja unit lime green? Or does it just appear that way because of lighting? Either way, it stands out like one more distraction. Pick one base colour add and add prints that go with that base. That TV unit HAS to go. So do that black metal coffee table and the carpet.
