Hi, Tile trims come in aluminium, stainless steel and PVC. 1] You can use PVC trims if you don't want to use metal trims. They are water resistant and durable. PVC trims come in a variety of colours so you can also choose the colour that goes with the rest of your tiles and bathroom. 2] A stainless steel trim is extremely durable and is highly resistant to corrosion and abrasions. Due to this it is widely used in factories. 3] Aluminium trims come in a variety of finishes. Anodized aluminium trims come essentially in metallic colours like silver, bronze, copper, gold. Powder coated aluminium trims come in a variety of colours and don't give the metallic look but offer adequate resistance to water damage. @Cornerstone Designs 888.4851.444 Studio, Sorry but the design is finalized. Bright, Light and White. That was my idea for the kitchen. The only miss is the grooves in the cabinet doors. Apparently the design company I hired do not work with MDF or MDF with Duco Paint. For the tiles, gloss finish is something I am not looking for. And since the beveled edges are also unavailable, I am planning to go for basic matte white and black tiles from Johnson's. As below - Any suggestion with the colors though?

Sudhir, For understanding your dilemma pics will be required. Vinyl, Carpet or other softer flooring materials may give you desired finish.

normally tiles are not all geometrically perfect. the edges are often chipped or curving. that's the reason most designers use spacers and grout. but the margin of error is 1 to 2 mm. anything more than that and you can ask for a replacement.
