What to do if tiles delivered are defective?

We are renovating our house in Bangalore and chose tiles from Kajaria. Our contractor along with my father went to the store to order the tiles which was delivered to us in a couple of weeks. We had placed them in a safe corner In the exact same way it was delivered to us I.e., with the packaging.

Recently we started laying the tiles and the workers noticed that the tiles were bent.

The Kajaria person whom we ordered the tiles from refused to take responsibility. We have already made the payment, could you recommend the way forward and how do go about this ?

Do you have an invoice and does the packaging have a manufacturing date.

    Thanks

normally tiles are not all geometrically perfect. the edges are often chipped or curving. that's the reason most designers use spacers and grout. but the margin of error is 1 to 2 mm. anything more than that and you can ask for a replacement.
