"Residence" sounds right. "Estate" sounds big to me = big house + lots of acres of land + big wrought iron fences. But why use surname. I seen plaques on peoples houses that read "The smiths"

We initially planned to renovate our old home. But during the middle of renovation work, we changed our mindset to build a new one. Hence we made a house design by ourselves(3BHK) with the help of our local builder and to save the cost we tried to reuse all possible materials that were extracted while demolishing our old home((i.e.., like red tiles placed on the top of left side of porch). The project is in last phase, now I feel that still we could do something to enhance the beauty of exterior of home by getting some ideas from experts. We just finished the painting of primer coating, yet to paint the final color. The pic you posted with color looks awesome, planning to paint the same color. Vinod, you are correctly advised. The trendy ones which you are mentioning are usually from gated communities where surveillance and security are better. You may have to assess the area you live in and plan accordingly. Thanks, Nitin Cornerstone Designs, Bangalore.

Hi Manish, thanks.. but I just don’t want the pain on dusting all these crevices in the partition furniture. Gaps in furniture are major dust magnet :( Can you tell me what your 3rd photo is? Is it a fabric/stained glass partition? I want a complete visual block when the doors/partition is closed.
