Mr. Raja,either the layout is not to the scale or it isn't made by a professional by keeping in mind the proper furniture proportions.

For the proper planning, you should send the drawing with the clear measurement for the best possible utilization of the space.

Please write the names of the room in the layout as excluding the kitchen living and washroom i cannot get a hang of what the other rooms are for like example - master bedroom, guest room, etc. you can write it in a paper with random sketching and send a pic here.

It surely needs expert planning. You should not provide the pooja room in that corner. By doing that you get complete rectangle to plan for you drawing area.

Change the bathroom size in your second room if possible because for bathroom the depth required id 4'6" and the depth here is 6'. So you will be saving 18" which can be utilized in the room. But use the entire length as the corner will be of no use .

Its great to be involved in the design process but designing it completely by yourself is a risky call and the stakes are really high.

For e.g. in this case the head boards are placed in North, the master bedroom doesn't have a attached washroom, seating in living is inadequate and misplaced.

Hey Sir,
The layout planning is totally not upto the mark for me. Doing this will make your house look like a job done by some local.. there are certain form and function to be kept in mind while doing the layoutting because that is the first step of space planning. I would like to suggest you to make 2 or 3 more options of something that you can think out of the box and not stick to this plan.

East is the main entrance

roads on north and west side.

one feet space is left on the east and south side

the dimension of each wall is 9 inch

Good job Sir for trying but still more can be done. Try visualizing it in a 3d in your head and make changes. Nevertheless there is one last thing i want you to do - tell me what is there around the 4 sides of your building example roads, another house, trees,park etc. I know it is getting lengthy for you but for me details and getting the facts right are much important before i give you my suggestions cuz hey this is a residence project where you must keep future in mind while space planning.

Like thinking about three viable plans gives you greater flexibility if some elements are unworkable after talking to your designer/architect. They also help you clarify the mix of elements that are most important and the least to your family and your lifestyle. You also need to separate your interior design and completion of the home budget, which includes new fittings and furniture, garden treatments, etc., from the building budget. Finally, after working out a budget, determine if your expectations are realistic. If certain elements may make you go over budget, tweak and adjust your plans so they are viable.
