You have a nice geometric, somewhat masculine look going here. I would play that up. I don't think you need to change the wall or carpet color as they seem to be a nice neutral background. Are they cream? is the purple more plum? and is the blue more of a steel blue/gray? The furniture is chocolate brown? I love the striped pillow on the chair. I would layer a wool steel blue/gray area rug and then play up the blue/plum in the pillows. A wool plaid or blue gray herringbone in a couple of throw pillows (replace a few of the solid color pillows) could help to pull it all together. Kind of like the colors in the picture of this bag. Adding brown leather cording would be a great compliment on the pillows. (Not sure the area rug in front of the TV is adding anything)

Thanku so much ..I too love the view n the natural light coming ..the bed appears to be big bcs of the headboard n its not yet placed well .. lil bit adjusting is left .. Can u help me with curtain colors? Or should I go for blinds?? How shud add vibrance?

There is so much you can do with the rug. You can go with a modern feel by bringing in metals, glass and creams with pops of orange or greens. You can go mid century modern by emphasizing the orange or even traditional with woods and beiges with hints of colors. If this was my starting point for a room that just needs to be cozy and comfortable, I would do a statement bed with darker wood. I would keep the curtains very light, and also the bedding. As there is creams in the carpet, I would steer clear of white, but use off white / beige for the bedding and curtains. Then I would use the orange and greens as accents in the room. I prefer shades of brown ..blends well with all colors.
