Help me with my living room ( high roof )
Comments (8)Thanks for ur advice guys ! Is there any other color advice ? Like brown n beige mix . Will it suit the high walls . I seriously don't have any idea as how to use the color . I tried a green on the walls in Photoshop . It looks totally lame but just want to know how to mix the colors . Any suggestion on how and where to use the color will be appreciated . Like dark color on the wall which has the TV and light color on all the other walls or opposite walls with the same color .. Pulling my hair out !!! I wanted to go for the black sofas only cos of low maintainence . It wil not get dirty soon . The one big thing under the staircase is my fish tank . The one near the wall is the TV . Yes we have fans attached on the walls . Since we have a high roof , we cant use ceiling fans . And the house is not equipped with a centralized AC . I just want a color which will helps me relax and will also look modern ....See MoreNeed help choosing the kitchen cabinet color with counter top !
Comments (3)You are going to have to leave your comfort zone on this one. Walnut is "brown", you have "pink" as a counter top. I would suggest going with another version of the colours already in the room. you have gray/beige and white. I would hesitate going white...but it can be done. You can move into the grays and be very happy (it would look very modern) or you can move into a beige that holds a hint of pink in it (not pink...but a blush of warmth). Or you could go really wonky and add in something like a brushed stainless steel look to the cabinets and have it go "space age". There are specs of blue/gray in this counter top. The next think to look at is an "ashwood" or dark gray wood presentation that has some blue in it. It would lighten the space yet still add drama that dark cabinetry offers....See MoreAccessorize my living room
Comments (46)Hi Nishi, Beautiful furniture and a very cute cosy nest you have. To begin with replace your existing coffee table with a hard wood simple coffee table. Replace your cushions with an assortment of pink, turquoise and golden yellow in different sizes and shapes, this will add some brightness to the room.Replace the pictures on the wall with a big mirror as per the wall size and add a nice frame to it. On the shelf on the picture wall place the candle stands currently on the centre table. The stools can be replaced with a nice upholstered ottoman bench in a printed fabric as sofa is plain. Cover the entry door with curtains as well so that it gives an illusion of a single wall behind. Since the wall behind the bench is already textured do not put anything on the wall. Remove the white bench there, instead put two big white teracotta pots there of different height and put bamboos on it. Finally put a blue/brown shaggy rug below the coffee table to complete the look. Hope you find the suggestions useful. Also you could put a few glass shelfs on the wall behind the 3 seater and place all your small knick knacks on displayLike how I have done on my wall...See MoreIdeas for my Kitchen Cabinet
Comments (10)Hi, Rajendra, there are three way of doing, firstly what you have chosen is go minimalist with all white, here you will have to add colors by decorating wall or adding a symbolic decor or art mural/painting which will bring you a joy while working. but if you neglect the importance of art work, the kitchen will be boring to use after 6 months of use. as we enjoy spices in our food , so do our eyes enjoy a sense of catchy colors too. second will be adding a contrast in with back splash with a back painted tempered glass or corian, this woks wonders. third, with the color of your choice, which will be permanent in the cabinate, but gives you a fresh sense to the whole kitchen, little color here and there will attract your eye and you'll appreciate your own choice/selection again and again....See MoreMary Monfort
