Hello Rukhsar, The base cabinet is anywhere between 28-34 inches depending on the height of the homeowners. From thereon the bottom of the wall cabinets start with a gap of 18-24 inches. The wall cabinets are usually not made until ceiling in indian kitchens. They are of 24-30 inches height. However, taking cues from the western designs some people prefer making the wall cabinets upto ceiling. You should take the call based on your storage requirements. Hi Riya You can use the existing slab on the left and create a crockery unit with a glass door. I would suggest that you float this unit a few inches above the slab so that the slab top is also usable for keeping kitchenware. You may also create open floating shelves or an appliances cabinet if you plan for electrical provisioning on that wall.
