Hi,

I wanted to put small tiles ( the kind you see in swimming pools) on the entrance of my open kitchen .

How ever, the guy is saying that tiles will not stick on the upper beam because PoP has already been put there, and it cannot be done even if you remove PoP. It can be done on the walls, but not on the ceiling. Tiles will fall below.

I was anyway thinking of bringing the height of the entrance down, as there is VRV duct on one (the dining side) of the entrance and chimney on the other side of the entrance ( heat generating sources in kitchen).

What are my options?
