There has been no cracking of the tile, and there is no grout. The deck is not waterproof. Check out www.stonedeckwest.com The tiles slide into fittings that are placed on the joists.
I see. Can this tile be installed over a waterproof membrane? We have a carport below the deck we need to keep dry. We have ceramic tile now that is breaking up, but the membrane has help up to now. We want to redo our deck but have lots of tree droppings that may clog up the gap between wooden deck boards, thus the tile option. Thank you.
