I would say at present your room is too crowded. also too bright /shiny colors. In India large / wall to wall rug/carpet can be problem with dust so a small cotton rug/carpet/dhurrie would help you. Also as Celerygirl mentioned please remove those sofa covers. add few cushions with nice cotton covers (ikat/block printed covers are quite cheap and easily available online) Get simple cotton/ or mixed curtains. Some wall art/framed posters /photos would be nice on walls. Also sheet on the diwan should match the color of your sofa.

Hey Kriti, The wardrobes are white so any color/shade will match with it. so you can go for louvers paneling, add a mirror, carved limestone or you can go for cheaper option by adding beading with cnc corner to give a european kind of look.
