There is so much you can do with the rug. You can go with a modern feel by bringing in metals, glass and creams with pops of orange or greens. You can go mid century modern by emphasizing the orange or even traditional with woods and beiges with hints of colors. If this was my starting point for a room that just needs to be cozy and comfortable, I would do a statement bed with darker wood. I would keep the curtains very light, and also the bedding. As there is creams in the carpet, I would steer clear of white, but use off white / beige for the bedding and curtains. Then I would use the orange and greens as accents in the room. Hello Vipin, As the floor is dark green I would suggest a biege sofa, a very very light yellow colour for walls, light yellow and biege plain self designed alternately placed curtains, brighter yellow and dark green (as that of floor)alternating cushions and an orange base painting with white yellow and green on it on one wall.Hope my suggestion is of some help to you.

I would like to give you more suggestions to improve your living room ambience . The highlight wall in pink can be switched to some other striking color such as a teal blue or moss green color , then you can change the curtain to from sheer/transparent to a thick fabric and the color to a neutral tone such as white / beige /grey .And yes definitely adding more lights to the space will amp it up .. Hi, You've great prints here, let them pop! Neutral colors, like hue of grey will complement the space or if you're going for sheer go for white! It will complement the walls and other textures you've used in the room curtains will give you a subtle frame to your room.
