The main issue is that local ordinances require setbacks from property lines and these free samples may not fit what your local building department may require. You can usually access the setback information from your building department online, but a trip down to talk to a planner may be necessary. Start there, finding a house plan that fits within that footprint is the second step.

Please clarily that you are talking about a two story single familly house...... If so, the footprint that your house will have on the ground floor will be approximately 1000 square feet. Do you need to park a car on the site or is parking offsite? If the parking is offsite, then you have lots of room for a two story, 1800 plus square foot house. The design will be dependent on your personal criteria, and it would be helpful if you could hire a local architect to help you with the layout of the rooms. First of all, I don't think that furniture is comfortable enough to sit and watch TV, so the TV should be remove from that room, the purple wall paper and the purple furniture is too much, you should consider another color for that wall and the furniture against the wall it doesn't look good. What is that room at the end is kind of dark and I cannot appreciate exactly what is the purpose of that room. I'm a firm believer in skylights, we have skylights in the laundry room, kitchen, living room and office, they make a big difference. (if you cannot have skylights (or tube lights) can lights are a great option. There are a lot of great ideas from everyone. I can't wait to see the after photos.
