With that said, instead of making the 10x13 bathroom accessible to guests, why not leave the other one as is, since it is common already and change the 10x13 into study space? Then there is not a bathroom opening up to the kitchen. Also it is larger and will allow for more space. Next owners might make it into a large walk-in pantry. Or if you can put laundry in your unit, you could add that to that room also. Desk could double as folding table. Master bedroom - put the bed on wall that backs to bathroom. Gives you great view of bed from doorway and allows natural walk way to balcony.

Hello Gopa, You can do a partition with plywood on wooden frame. Go for a door with hinges as there is no benefit of a sliding door in terms of light . What is your intent for having a openable vs sliding door. Please be aware that after making an additional room the living room will look dark and long/ narrow. You can have a transome on the door in case privacy is not much of an issue. You will however have to depend on artificial lighting in case a full partition is done. Thanks Nitin and Ideal Lifestyle. Sorry for the late reply, I don't know why my net is not working properly from the last few days. Ny way, I actually see the foating kitchen cabinet in google image. May be that it not good for our Indian kitchen. I love the drawyer system that offered in modular kitchen cabinet. But at the same time I have no patience to dry the the kitchenware (cookware/dish etc.) after washing. Now we put it on the steel dish rack (commonly visible in Indian kitchen) hanged in our wall after every wash, which no need to first dry and then store. But I want to conceal the dishes, pressure cookers, kadhais in drawyers. In my dream kitchen big kitchenware should be concealed, hanging cookware like saucepan, tawa, frying pan would hang on s hooks in railing and open shelve for the dry goods in glass/tin/ceramic jar.

Actually the depth is too much, & these shelves would not take the load of books. Is it pvc. I need something load bearing to put heavy stuff. Thanks for your concern
