As others have said, it depends on the space. As a child I loved velvet flocked because it was so "touchable" LOL! In my extended family we tend to use the velvet flocked in dining rooms, the foil in bathrooms, and a high quality wallpaper in other rooms. The design is totally reliant upon the space it is being used in. In our Victorian farmhouse most of the rooms have the big roses or hydrangeas appropriate to the period. you could always use any glass top table with steel frame and put a matt finished steel tray arranged with some metallic miniatures or candle stand or spray paint some wooden table with metallic paint and give an oxidised look.

Hi Farooq, you should go for wall paneling on that wall with a concealed door. The wardrobe can be a part of the unit in front.

Its just really messy right now. Too many colours and clashing prints. Is that Puja unit lime green? Or does it just appear that way because of lighting? Either way, it stands out like one more distraction. Pick one base colour add and add prints that go with that base. That TV unit HAS to go. So do that black metal coffee table and the carpet. I would suggest you go with a simple geometric print in the carpet. But apart from these obvious design gaffes, the structure has distinct possibilities, if you do a classic English style.
