Hello, I feel that you can design this bedroom by having 1 opaque wall at the back, and 3 transparent walls using glass & steel or glass & wooden french doors. The walls should be white, with minimal accents of blue or green, use 2 layers of curtains with sheer, and brass hanging lamps. All doors can be white PU paint. Waterproofing this bedroom will be essential, so make sure you have sealed all joints and surfaces, with a minimum of 2 feet roof overhangs. Hope this helps! G

As far wooden floorings are concerned, it is best to avoid in hot and humid zones . You could also consider wooden textured tiles for a similar look. On the brighter side, they impart an elegant look and is quite easy to clean and resist daily wear and tear. However, heavy things could scratch the floor when moving around like a sofa or fridge. Hi Soumadeep, For a living room (with an existing flooring of Tiles/stone) you can go for a Laminate flooring (Action Tesa has the widest range). The cost of material + installation should not exceed ₹100 per sq.ft., although it may vary from vendor to vendor. It can be installed within 4-5 hours at most! In case if you expect frequent water spillage then I'd suggest you Ceramic tiles with a wooden print and texture, which is a more worry-free option. However this is advisable in case where you plan to paint the walls as well because of the plaster work associted with the skirtings. Hope this was helpful :) Regards
