I wouldn't have any fancy WI design, just plain. The WI could also be installed horizontally. Extending the glass would be pretty, too! If the area was fully enclosed you could keep the french doors open more often and incorporate this balcony area into your living space year round. Also it would keep out dust and wind and rain & would be easier to keep clean, maybe there could be a vent for fresh air when the weather was nice. Could you talk to someone who has enclosed their balcony for more information? Depending on the sun exposure, you might need screening, too. The furniture & colors should harmonize with your living room. Ask your family what they might use the balcony for. If to sit and enjoy the view and plants, you will want one type of furnishing and if to eat on the balcony you'll need a table and chairs, too. This is a cute balcony arrangement, but I do not know how comfortable the little WI chairs would be: http://lh4.ggpht.com/_t8-Y4w1UKrc/Sa9w-hXyEeI/AAAAAAAAVrc/hb9dAYdw59c/s1600-h/image%5B45%5D.png...See MoreMeditation room design in private garden

Comments (202)Pankaj, I just realized that initially you told us that the bathroom area was 12'-0" x 9'-0" and later you mentioned that it was 11'-8" x 8'-0". In the last floor plan, I forgot to change the bathroom with the new dimensions. Below is the floor plan with the correct dimensions for the bathroom. The bedroom is ok, I drew it 19'-2" x 12'-6". The new layout does not change the way things are placed. Everything still fit. The only difference is that the vanity is now 4'-4" long instead of 4'-8". and the toilet is closer to the shower by 1'-0". Can you give me the lengths of the walls K and L. They are the walls between the vanity and the shower area. I will send you the new layout once you give me the length of these 2 walls....See Moreneed help for my balcony
Comments (3)How long is your sentence? Do you have a few years left to grow some espaliered plants from pots or planters? Stop at your garden center to see what they have already trained, evergreens if it remains shady, dwarf fruit trees if there is sun, or just a mass of vines to gaze at while you serve your time. Looks like you are in a warm climate, but I would avoid bold textures like palms and philodendron. Even a simple row of bamboo would be refined and would screen the industrial look beyond. And it would be inexpensive and grow almost instantly, over a foot on some days. Do it. The planter itself would be like a piece of furniture. cascio.offsite@gmail.com...See Morecmiduffin
