First you have to decide from which board you are trying to get the affiliation. As per the board norms you need minimum no of students for running a school from 1st to 12th standard and as per the no of students, no of teachers are also required. You can always go for a plain 3" drop false ceiling. you won't loose height, you'll conceal wires and you'll also be able to have more options for the type of light to use. additionally, a plain false ceiling will not be a home to pests, if that's one of your worries
