where can i find this floor?

Hello,

I'm renovating my new 1 bedroom condo and i'm about to get new floors.

i saw this flooring that i really like online but i cant seem to find this pattern at any store.

does anyone know where can i find something similar to this? or what type of wood will have this pattern so i can search by name? i live Chicago.

i want to go with vinyl planks but will also consider laminate.

It looks like oak. I think you should find some flooring with more consistent staining as this one looks almost patchy. Perhaps it's the way the light is falling across it, however.

Do you like the driftwood grey on the left or the walnut on the right? Either way could be site finished in oak.

There are many many Luxury Vinyl Tiles that look like this! A good flooring dealer will have them. it is becoming more and more popular as it is indestructible, well priced, soft on feet and juts plain good looking. Some people call it LVT plank. Good luck.

The Chicago area has plenty of specialty flooring retailers who will be able to point you in the right direction. If you’re specifically looking for any Shaw Floors products that combine the look of oak woodgrain with the performance of luxury vinyl, we recommend you seek out Norfolk Plank Resilient in Galley Oak and Harwich Resilient in Raven.

You mentioned laminate, too, and we wanted to provide a bit more information on differences between laminate and luxury vinyl, which is also known as resilient flooring. Laminate uses leftover wood fiber from the hardwood manufacturing process to create our unique coreboard. This coreboard is backed with melamine, which provides stability and moisture resistance, and topped with the “decorative layer” that features a high-quality photograph of our most beautiful hardwood. This flooring, Basque Laminate in Sage, is one of our laminates that resembles the flooring you found.
