Why not just do a barn door style

i think mechanically a pocket door that deep would be problematic. its actually a good location for barn 'style' door as you dont have switches on that side.

I honestly don't understand "panel surrounding it" -- what is it you're trying to figure out?

Are you saying you will be layering a wooden false wall on top of the existing wall to hold the pocket door? If that is the case, you might want to treat the entire side of that new and existing wall ( including the area above doorway) as an accent wall using wood veneer strips. They look like actual pieces of wood plank which have adhesive backing, they come in a variety of finishes and colors...I like the old reclaimed wood look. A diagonal pattern would add extra visual interest, but would be more intense to cut and install. That will camouflage the additional layer and create a beautiful accent wall.

Barn door technology/installation experience not available in our area. so its almost out of question.

my idea to install pocket doors is:
1. Two pillars on both sides- one will be fake of wood - second will use pillar shaped wall on right hand side
2. Door will come of pillar- when doors are open- a person may not even be able to figure out if there is a door!

any kind of incremental suggestions/design ideas for this, are most welcome!
even drastically different suggestions too, if it solves my purpose. Yes all walls are of brick+cement

1. if I make entire wall look wooden with panelling? - Symmetry of plastic of Paris work on corners will be broken - any suggestions?

2. Can mechanical difficulty of pocket be entirely eliminated using heavier hardware?

Are you wanting to have one or two pocket doors with the description you are giving? I will agree with a couple others on here that an exposed barn door track system would be the easiest and best way to give you a partition between your rooms. Barn door tracks aren't that difficult to install as long as you have backing in the walls. If the walls are brick or cement, you have plenty of backing already. It's just putting up the track which will have approximately 7-8 bolts to hold it to the wall.
