No matter your choice in decor, please buy (or have made) a "kitchen height" vanity. Toe kick drawer, full extension drawers, no "doors". With such a small cabinet you need all the storage possible. I would also suggest a recessed medicine cabinet over the lav instead of your current one.

White is easier to clean than streaks of toothpaste down the front of an espresso stained cabinet.

Well that one is cheap enough to just replace if they beat it up, heh. The sky's the limit -- you haven't really said much about your style and what you're looking for, other than that there is currently white and tan tile in the room...

Hi, your wall finish looks limiting to paint it a different colour, so I would focus on artwork and an interesting mirror. You might want to consider a pedestal sink in a design that goes with your current toilet. If you prefer a vanity, I would go with white to blend in more. I think a floating unit like this would work very nicely and also the full mirror to open the space and give it more light. Match the sink faucets to your tub, the chrome.

Thanks everyone. I'm really lost in the direction I want to go with this project. We bought our first home so I have not settled with a specific color scheme yet. We started with the bathroom because it was easier project to start and finish. My style is traditional. I like my rooms to flow and match. Like I mentioned the tile is staying so it's kicking me off with how to decorate I hope I make sense.

I would paint the walls a soft grey and go with a white vanity that has storage..given your kids will be using this bathroom as well, so when you have guests you can hide their items! I'd look for a shower curtain with white/grey/your floor color and you could add cute hooks on the wall opposite the toilet for each of your kids towels. When you have guests, use some nice Turkish towels.

My suggestion is to make sure that whatever vanity you choose, it will be functional for your children more than your guests. I would suggest one drawer for each child. This will hopefully avoid any clutter on your sink. If you choose a vanity with no drawers, I would suggest small bins underneath the sink to help keep each child's misc items (toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, brush, etc) contained and off of the vanity top.
