Strawberries paired with bunch grasses are a great groundcover
option for the Pacific Northwest. In sunny spots, try beach strawberry (Fragaria
chiloensis) with blue oat grass (Helictotrichon sempervirens), shown
here. In shaded or dappled areas, try wild strawberry (Fragaria vesca)
with Idaho blue fescue (Festuca idahoensis ‘Siskiyou Blue’).”
