Do you need light, ventilation, noise control, security from intruders? Will this window be glazed? Where is the structural header and can it be altered? How does the rest of the facade look, where are you located, is it important to coordinate with the style of dwellings nearby? What direction does the window face and is it shaded by other buildings or trees at any time of day?

since Indian security system believes in a grilled window for every house,im not able to match things from houzz to my window space which is undone yet,since the interiors of my house is in progress,plz help

There is no right answer! It largely depends on the room and what you are looking to accomplish. If your budget is such that you can only have one, I would opt for a blind or shade so you can create some privacy and light control. You can always add drapery later to create a soft touch. We have recently finished the two and a half storey structure of bungalow. In the ground floor, there are guest room, kitchen and living cum dining room with a space for upstairs. It is a duplex concept house. Also in the first floor we out master bed room, children's room, parent room, family lounge, study room and a pantry. From the first floor is the gazebo entry with front facing. All the rooms have attached baths and toilets except the study, pantry and family lounge. The second floor has laundry room, spa room and a big prayer room( ibadat khana). Please help to decide on the window and door style and sizes that looks beautiful in such structures.
