Ganesh in the place of the mirror to greet you and your guests as Goddess Lakshmi is supposedly behind him, will create more prosperity to the household. A recessed focal light from the ceiling to highlight its beauty. Another silver empty frame placing behind Ganesh, similar to the mirror to frame the idol or a Rajasthani silver jali work piece that way the wall behind would not look empty either! The beautiful mirror can be placed where you have the Ganesh now, that way the positive energy coming into your house does not get bounced back or out...

OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

Where to go for cheap furniture Goodwill, word of mouth from friends and family, yard sales, and moving sales. Wooden pieces I will buy from anywhere and will dive into a dumpster even, fabric/leather pieces much more picking with. Rugs are easy to clean or have cleaned. Always do the smell test, if you gag run away. You can paint anything, even fabric covered chairs. Get an idea of what you want your space to look like, and feel like. Create idea books in Houzz for each room. This will give you a guide to what you like. Less is more. You don't have to fill every room. Get basics first and everybody has a different idea of basics. Find yours. Put only things that you love in your house, and everything will look great. It will be a home filled with love.

Regarding the size of green belt, I have confirmed it from the patwari that Plot 1 has got 5 metre green belt on both sides. He told me that: All plots with 24 metre facing road are having 5 metre green belt whereas plots with 12 metre facing road are having 2.5 metre green belt. (It's 4 or 3.5 metre in case of 18 metre road, I don't remember exactly). About that bold line, I am sure that it is not representing width of green belt. (Check below image as that bold line is having same width for 12 metre facing plots). So what do you think now? Should I become that lucky guy to own plot 1? Check out whole map and there are hardly 3-4 corner plots which are having 24 metre wide road on both sides. (and there are just 2 plots having North East direction) whereas there are around 50-55 plots which are similar to Plot 2nd. About your query, It's Suncity Township - I (Sector 35, Rohtak). It's around 45 kilometres away from Delhi border. Would you please mind elaborating this point a little bit more - "For us function prevails over design anyday".
