It's just the common Sticky Tack that you can find at any craft store, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. It doesn't leave any residue on the walls, but what I've found is that if I leave the artwork up there for a long time, it's difficult to get it off of the art itself. By a long time, I mean like a year! :-) HandiTack is about the consisentcy of Silly Putty but it comes in flat strips. (See Photo) Hope that helps!
