What kind of a look are you looking at for your house. A minimalist modern look or a contemporary ethnic look. First and foremost you need to do away with the current drapes and replace them with fabric blinds or light curtains so that there is some natural sunlight in the room. Paint the entire room white so that instantly brightens up the room. The long 27ft wall can be wall papered with a bricked look 3D wall paper on light grey or beige or just a textured wall in beige or grey. Also removing your sofa from there will open up the space. The current drawing area can be used as a foyer/entryway with just a bench and a shoe rack. Rest of the details I will share after making a rough plan with all furniture placement. Hi! A master bedroom design should be aesthetically appealing and also extremely comfortable. Hence I would recommend you to change your mattress to make your beautiful looking bedroom design become extremely comfortable also. If you have a cheap mattress, your bedroom will never truly be luxurious. In a small room, you’ll also tend to spend a lot of time on your bed. Thus, a mattress could actually be a defining factor of whether your room is luxurious or not. I recently changed my mattress and I have to say it really does make a massive impact to the overall feel of your room. I would also recommend that you go to a store and try a mattress before you it. Also you need to understand that designing is a subjective and time consuming process and doesn't happen in an instant. If its just about getting ideas then you can find millions on google search. Hi Tanmayi, Going for white walls is always safe, this will helps in giving a light feel to the room plus gives a lot of scope to bring in the patters and colours to the room in other forms (like curtains, cushions, wall art/frames, etc) PAINT SHADE(2 Options) Would also like to advice you to have a subtle wallpaper either in the niche portion of the TV wall or for the entire headboard wall. (Assuming the other walls may have windows or doors) SOME WALLPAPER REFERENCE IMAGES: Later you can gradually bring in other elements as per your taste and time and pull up the room together.
