actually i cant move the dining table close to the kitchen as tahst the main entrance to our house.if i put dining table in that area,the entry would look congested.the rooms adjoining it are gallery which leads to mastre bedroom and another bedroom.

This Cabinet is $155 at Ikea. You could take the 4 items you had hung, and put them in a "shadow box", or individual deep frames to tie then together, to create I piece that looks more substantial on the wall, Then add a little ledge for photos, and you would even have room on the cabinet for the cool bottles that were on the floor, and that cool chest could definitely find a home as an end table, or entry table. You could also add a larger plant in a really nice pot in turquoise. The cut and paste renditions arent always completely accurate in scale.

It has a descent lighting. I like bold colors. and this is a living room still in construction. The room has rectangular shape, this is half of the room. There is window on the opposite side of the TV(my back side while taking the above picture). The window size is 6 x 4 feet.

You're welcome! Yes plain walls of same colour in light tones will look good or go for plain white walls and some subtle grey texture(very light). These battens can be made by local carpenter by using wood or MDF board and then painted.You will easily get enough YouTube videos or try searching board and batten walls on Google to help you understand the process and time of making it.That way you can decide for whether DIY or with help.
