What colour would go with this room?

I want to use two colours and paint the wall behind the furniture with one colour, other walls with another color so that it could have a contrast. However I am bad at choosing colours and I dont really have any favourite colour as such so I really need suggestions. Thanks.

What does the rest of the space look like and what's the room being used for? Looks like a warehouse. Also do you like bold colors? Soft colors? What's the lighting like in there?

It has a descent lighting. I like bold colors. and this is a living room still in construction. The room has rectangular shape, this is half of the room. There is window on the opposite side of the TV(my back side while taking the above picture). The window size is 6 x 4 feet.

I think grays and blues would look great! here are a few accents that may go with your yellow color. Hi Emran, What a great size room you have. You need to create two sitting areas within the space, and pull them into the room (get them off the wall), also I can see from the fantastic chandelier that you have, that the dining table must stay where it is. I would recommend you go with 3 large area rugs, at least 10x12 looking at the size of your room. I would use traditional rugs with different patterns, yet similar colours so that they all work together. Visit alexanian.com for many rug ideas. They ship throughout Canada and US. Well it depends on your wall color as well . since you have such concrete looking floor I would recommend you can chose any electic color like lemon , orange , yellow to give a bright look and uplift room mood or chose any pastle color of your choice for subtle feel . :)

I think it's best to post more photos so people can see the whole room before making recommendations. Also, you can go on Sherwin Williams' website (a paint company) and apply paint colors to your own photos. It's a great way to imagine what your space will look like.

hmm

the room is very worn out needs proper waterproofing.

all i cud imagine is light color for light to reflect well. but it is recommended if you add more pictures of the room . the front wall size looks to be of 8' . do get your tv cabinet painted in black or dark brown.
