Need help for the living room, Indian/Asian/Tribal artistic
Comments (501)Hi Ni, I just thought of something....did you say you planned to do the stencil motifs on the window wall? If so, I am thinking they will be mostly hidden by the curtains. I wonder if it might be better to stencil the long wall that is on the right side of the room when looking toward the window. I could see this being a pretty backdrop to the prayer box (I think that’s what you called it?) and your wood cuttings. Then maybe the opposite wall (the one with the kitchen doorway) could hold a large piece of art?...See MoreRemodeling 'facelift' Cost
Comments (2)The cost for kitchen renovations and remodels have 4 main variables - the homes location, who does the work, the design and the materials - all of these inrfluence the price and all are under your control. You can get a quick estimate for your kitchen and other remodels at http://www.remodelormove.com/remodel-cost-calculators. The contractor is the right place to get the costs but unless you have a detailed design and all the materials picked out the contractor has to make a lot of assumptions which often produces a kitchen renovation cost that is higher than it would be if you had everything specified. Try meeting with a kitchen designer first - get your design done and all the materials selected then talk with a cotnractor...See MoreOur living room

Comments (10)Referring to the sketch above as option 1 you can have two option, option 1, as obvious cutout at the middle of the u shape staircase, in addition to this you can also have a double height entrance foyer with a chandelier in between hanging from the top. on first floor you can shift the balcony door side ways as mentioned with a circle. referring to the image above option 2 option 2 would be a complete change of staircase orientation , bringing the staircase in front foyer, extending the upper cutout as marked in dotted line, the new found area can help you extend your both bathrooms areas or can help you put some ground floor furniture or a informal study area.(see if your FSI permits to all these changes). and on the top your new area can accommodate your big gym equipment's like treadmill , and some additional gym storage. here you can also get to know from top who has arrived to your front door peeking downwards. further the walls of this area can be decorated while doing interiors and make the foyer look grand & luxurious. option three, If you are thinking of giving a cutout in center of the hall, please avoid, your areas above wont be usable in an appropriate way. cheers...See MoreUser
