Plan
Comments (12)Thanks for clarifying Sneha. Its a north facing property so the TV unit is placed in north , are you willing to compromise on that if you need a pooja room in NE. Please include the directions in the plan to avoid confusion. A four seater dining may not be of much help as the width of the table remains approximately same its only the length that is reduced. We also need to maintain safe distance from the TV unit plus we have a french window on the west side. It may require some structural changes, in discussion with your designer, to the plan to accommodate a pooja room without compromising on the looks. Are you willing for that. Comments (10)The plot location is the front rows of the society. It can be used as commercial for ground and first floor ( I don't want to use it for commercial although). Its a north Facing plot. to correct the exact plot size its 30 *45 not 30 *40 as earlier said. So its 1350 sq ft. Specifications: Ground floor with 2 parking, Garden, utility, 1 hall, 1 kitchen, 1 small bed room, 1 pooja room, 1 bath room and 1 store room. First floor with a big store room, 2 bed rooms with attached bathrooms and small kitchen (which I can use in emergency) and big balcony, Second Floor with 2 big rooms, 1 with attached bathroom. One separate (which I can use for home theater) and 1 huge balcony with small gazibo. Elevation should be royal (not modern). Should be more like European look....See MoreNeed second opinion on floor plan
Comments (10)Hi Deepasri, If you follow Vaastu, then I recommend that you have the Pooja room facing East. God’s idol should either face east or west. Expand your current pooja room to a study room that is accessible from your master bedroom or make it a store room where u keep ladder, travel bags, etc to be accessible from hall. And put the Pooja room next to it facing East in the hall....See MoreSuggestions to better plan dining and family lounge area.
Comments (10)SJ , With due respect to your personal choices, for a family of 6 this is certainly looking over the top. I would suggest you to cut down the TV units to 2 or 3. You may not need 25 seats for a closely knit family it looks like we are trying to create silos in the home where everyone just sticks to their rooms, with separate baths, accent chairs, study and TV units. I would recommend you to convert the NE bedroom's bath as a common one with entrance from living. You can then do away with powder room. SE bath has a wardrobe inside the bath, I wonder why would you need that. It may not be a ideal placement.
