Comments (2)In my suggestion, now one should have different color schemes for different areas and rooms. Painting the whole house in just one color might make the interiors dull. Comments (0)Hi all, as soon as I open the front door clockwise, there is a 2.5 ft wide space(height 8 ft) on the left followed by L shape column leading to another 4 ft wide space. This was the servant washroom and I want to use it for show rack and foyer. The X area on the opposite has a window. Should the access to this area be through hall?What are possible functional design ideas? I will also need access to the servant room at the left back. Comments (15)A typical partition or anything on the floor may make the space look constrained. I'd suggest you just use a different finish of flooring to partition the space...for e.g. you can have wooden flooring installed on top of the tiles in the area where the sofa is kept - to the human eye this will both partition the space as well as maintain the spaciousness....See MoreDarzy
