actually i cant move the dining table close to the kitchen as tahst the main entrance to our house.if i put dining table in that area,the entry would look congested.the rooms adjoining it are gallery which leads to mastre bedroom and another bedroom.

Hi Gaurav, It really depends on what kind of circulation you need around this room. Where the door behind the sofa comes from and where the door next to the shelving takes to... What do you have on the wall from where you took the picture? Is it a window? If you are keeping this rug, definitely the best option would be to put one part facing the other and getting yourself a nice rectangular coffee table. On your first option, you can keep the rug and a lower and squared coffee table is needed. But, bear in mid that you are "blocking" the door and the incoming circulation. And on your second option, you would need a new bigger rug to cover the area and most likely side tables near the sofas too. Another idea is having the sofa in L shape, but standing where you were when taking the picture. It would leave the circulation from the door clear. Please let me know what you think. Good luck, Ana

Hello Arsh, Thankfully it's one piece as we were hoping. To tone it down these are our suggestions: The wall behind this needs to be in grey color. Use the lighter shade of your Curtains grey stitch lines in Royale Aspira Paint. Use black and white photo frames on that wall. Combine a number of patterned black and white with bright yellow or blue cushions on this piece and Use a similar throw piece. Use a carpet if your budget permits. Please ask the upholsterers to finish the other sofas properly. The biddings are not straight and they are not there on the entire piece - like handles. Hi Kiran, Before you place any furniture here, you should rethink the existing layout. I would eliminate the 3 internal walls around the puja room, and convert the areas of the living, puja, dining and kitchen, into a singular larger space. This is simply for better air circulation and overall aesthetics of the flat - to make it feel larger. You will now have an open kitchen - which can be shut by either a glass sliding folding partition, or with a half wall with a breakfast bar. You can use furniture smartly to create privacy for individual areas. You can also change the locations of the doors to the bedrooms, by not having them from the dining space, but from the passage outside the bathrooms; so that a larger table right in the centre with a dining credenza by one of the walls, thereby making the dining space a bit enclosed and not accessible from 3 sides. To answer your main question, you can have the television on the common wall between the living and bathroom (5'x8'); an L-shaped sofa can be placed along the same wall as the entrance door.
