“Carlos and his amazing team did a full remodel of our backyard including installation of a pool, deck, pergola, outdoor kitchen, fencing, retaining wall and more. It was our dream that we planned for a few years and Carlos and his team did an amazing job. I couldn't give Carlos and his team higher praises. They were incredibly professional, meticulous and even months after our project has been completed have made themselves available to help with any questions or concerns or fix any small detail that we can come up with. I've heard horror stories from many friends doing backyard renovations and I can honestly say that we had no issues. Josh's design skills are exceptional; every project I have seen is stunning. His ability to move between styles proves his dedication to his craft. “Words cannot express how happy we are with how beautiful and functional our backyard is thanks to Tolalf. He listened to our ideas and asked questions about our lifestyle and our goals for our space (which included a pool). The result is absolutely perfect! Throughout the whole process, he was professional, creative, timely, and extremely responsive. “Mclaughlin installed hardscape in my backyard consisting of spa with waterfall, fireplace, retaining walls, raised patio with dual steps, pilasters and custom benches. The hardscape turned out beautiful. High quality material consisting of travertine and stacking stone , excellent color/texture for stone work, grand looking custom colored concrete caps on retaining walls and pilasters. High quality spa equipment. The curves for walkways and walls add an interesting dimension to yard. Jerry has a key eye for art which he is able to translate into his landscaping projects.”

“We were fortunate to have Katie Cool redesign the landscape in our backyard two years ago. We continue to love her design and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the landscape as it has matured. So when we decided to rid our front yard of its lawn and use drought tolerant landscaping, we knew who to call. Katie once again proved to be just the right choice for the job. She is a creative, knowledgable and responsive professional. After listening to our particular needs and desires she created a unique design that exceeded our expectations. She also designed a privacy panel for the front porch using vintage glass blocks that she was able to find. The result is a cool design that looks original to our Midcentury Modern house. We love it. She is particularly effective working with the contractors during installation. She is on site for all critical decisions and manages the project to completion to ensure that her design is implemented according to her vision and our satisfaction. This works extremely well. After the job is completed, she follows up with visits to check on the landscaping and problem solve any issues. We are now left with the unfortunate realization that we have run out of yard space for Katie to transform and we will miss working with her. She is quite simply the best.”

“I recently bought a home in Irvine. I have a rather large tiled patio space in the back and wanted to do something special with it. But I have no knowledge of plants, which plants would look good, which plants would survive best, and which would require not too much water. I found "My Garden" on Houzz.com and I feel lucky I did. I wanted not only plant advice but also someone who could help me design the space. I wanted not only plants but furniture, a fire pit , and a fountain. Wayne did all that for me. He came over and took measurments. The following week he brought to me a professionally drafted design for my space, complete with a variety recommended plants, pots, furniture , fountain and the best places to get them. This was all for a surprisingly reasonable one-time price. It was exactly the information I needed. Now I can set about to obtain everything and create my dream patio environment at my own pace, and according to my budget. Wayne is a pleasure to work with, very easygoing, not pushy, and he's prompt. An interesting thing about him is his knowledge of horticulture. He's a walking encyclopedia ! He explained to me that he taught and was the founder and program director of the Landscape Technologies Program at Cal Poly University Pomona for 24 years. He was also the founder/director of the Xeriscape Water Conservation Program at UCI. He walked with me through my garden and told me the names of all of my existing plants, even he rare ones with both their common as well as their botanical names : "This is a Dombeya Wallichii " "That is a Dizygotheca" etc etc etc for every single plant in my garden. I was awed !! He rattled off the names as readily and matter-of-factly as if I had asked him if the sun was shining. And it was ! I can't say enough about Wayne !!”
