“Michael is a master! Not only is he a creative designer with an amazing aesthetic, but he created a very functional space that I use every day. My family and friends will always choose my backyard for dining above any restaurant because the beauty and tranquility of my outdoor space creates the best kind of mood for social gatherings. My landscaping is gorgeous and easy to maintain. My backyard is now an extra room in my home, an annuity that I did not consider when I first started planning to re-design my yard. I am so glad that I hired Michael to design my yard because he solved all the problems of the previous landscaping: I now have excellent drainage, complete privacy, a water feature that eliminates any traffic noise, and shade that makes my south facing yard habitable, even in the middle of the day. “Majestic Builders/Robert Terry did a complete and total Remodel of my backyard including, New Pool, New Plumbing, High Tech Lighting and custom Water Feature, New Deck and Fire Pit, New Electrical, Beautiful Modern Patio Structure, Landscaping.. the works. We couldn't be happier with our new backyard. All of our guests tell us that it feels like they are in a resort. Robert and his company were professional, prompt, communicative and most importantly on time and on budget. We will continue to use this contractor as long as there are jobs to get done. “Viktor and his crew recently finished a two-month makeover/upgrade of our front and back yards, including installing a french drain around the perimeter of our house, adding a brick patio with lights and an outdoor fireplace, installing brick walkways throughout, uplighting our large trees, installing a fountain, hot tub, new lawn area, drainage, three vegetable boxes, planting hundreds of plants, and fabricating a lattice to grow hops on. We used Michael Glassman as our landscape architect (also great to work with!) and Viktor's company was one of the landscape contractors Michael recommended. Viktor only does one job at a time, they were here every day from dawn to dusk and they did beautiful work, were hard working, professional and friendly. Highly recommend.”

“So, about a year and a half ago I bought a small house built in 1939. Lots of charm, but the backyard, not so much. Small, nothing but a lawn, tiny little patio cover off the garage, and a big redwood at the corner. Oh, and my neighbors looked right over it from their second floor. I and my house guests would hide under the patio cover to get shade and privacy. It didn't seem like there was a way to fix all this, but Gary surveyed the yard, its problems and my neighborhood's style. He then listened closely to my concerns and was diligent in understanding my particular likes and dislikes. He came back with three different plans and I liked all of them. After I committed to a plan, he went to work and each and every member of his crew was friendly and professional during the work. Finished on time and in budget. And I love my yard! It went from being a sore spot to the favorite feature of my house. Lots of privacy, shade, and visual interest. And a tub with hot and cold water :) My friends and family are huge fans as well. “Sophie has an excellent eye and knows how to make a yard look not only beautiful but pulled together. When I came to her for a design for our backyard to go with our new pool, I had a lot of ideas. Probably too many. In fact, I'm sure it was too many. Hey, I know what I want. Sophie listened to me and incorporated my ideas into the final design so that it feels like it was my idea--only better. I don't know anything about plants or what will grow where, but that didn't matter because I had Sophie right there. Every plant type, ground cover and even placement of future hardscape features was well thought out. The yard is now inviting and the whole family enjoys spending time there. It's also a really nice backdrop out our kitchen window for days when we only get to look at it instead of hanging out there! Maybe that's the highest compliment a designer can get--when it's all done, it is more than what I expected. Actually, the best news is that our front yard needs attention and I don't have to think twice about who I am calling! Doug L.”

“I want you to know that I am very happy with the final plant choices. I am not sure how you did it but, some how you were able to decipher what we wanted the end results to be in our yard. Some days I was not sure what we wanted! Our yard is now not only beautiful but, most importantly manageable!!! We no longer have to spend hours weekly trying to maintain the landscape. Instead we now get to spend that time enjoying being outside in our yard. I really appreciate that you were available to check everything after installation and make appropriate substitutions.
