“After a major home renovation that took most of 2019, our garden looked like a barren wasteland. It was composed of mostly rocks and construction debris. We contacted Alexis who gave us a 3D render of the work he would do. On the first nice day of spring, he and his team appeared at our doorstep to fix up our garden. He estimated it would take two weeks. In less than ten days, our wasteland turned into a little paradise. They cleaned the soil and removed the debris. They built a beautiful fence and deck. They planted flowers and plants that would last. They set us up with a fruit and vegetable garden, and designed a harmonious paved entrance to the yard in our front lawn. As for customer service, Alexis was available anytime for questions, and he was able to make changes on the fly based on our needs. He returned twice after the work was done to personally do minor tweaks, and really make sure we were satisfied. And we are. My family and I spent all summer in the garden, and let me tell you it was worth every penny. Highly recommended.”

Pommier répond rapidement aux communications, avant, durant et après le projet. ***** We met Pommier in the spring and he provided several great ideas for our backyard renovation, including solutions to some ongoing problems. He provided a detailed estimate including options. The project was conducted within the estimated timeframe and while respecting the budget quoted. We are very happy with the final result. “I contacted Mr.Martel a 63 yr old gentleman and passionate individual who basically came to the rescue to repair the previous contractors mistakes and turn disaster in instant Awe… From the very first instant he greets you he reassures you and then he puts all into motion where you do not need this component he does not add it to the plan . He creates wonderful projects and where there is a problem some time down the road he is still around to give you after service i.e changing a tree that has diseased some 3 years down the road . Well I have never seen the excellence in after service . His staff still the same over time so much that my young daughter recognizes them . I wish there 100 like me who would nominate him . This is a great family business and I highly recommend them”

“In 2009, we installed a swimming pool in our back yard and we wanted primarily to have perennials so as not to have to plant too many flowers, bushes etc each year. Of course we had both full sun areas and dark areas under cedar bushes to provide a little challenge. My wife planned a rosebush garden and a "zen" garden to enhance the overall look. Allan Becker was awesome; he came over to our home many times with alternatives and discussed the choice of perennials and bushes as well as which flowers would fit our garden and would be both beautiful and hard to kill, and suggested which annuals would be good to fill in until the perennials had grown in fully. He guided us with some plants that bloomed in early summer, mid summer and early autumn so our back yard is quite colourful the entire summer period. Oh yes, he also designed our front yard with bushes and perennials in addition to plants on the front walk to our home. My wife puts flowers each summer to provide a fresh look but the great work repeats annually based on the input from Allan Becker, the garden guru. He was easy to work with and listened carefully to what we wanted and then came up with a very workable and rather inexpensive plan.”

“After a search for a landscaper on the internet, I stumbled upon Horta's website. We met David for an initial consultation and knew right away that his vision and approach was different from the other "big shop" landscaper we usually see in our neighborhood. His ideas were creative and in line with what had been discussed. The bidding and hiring process was clear, easy and without surprises. David and his team were always on site on time and we would be kept up to date with the progress of work and small changes that had to be done. We especially appreciated the care given to our existing plants and their willingness to recycle and reuse materials in the most environmentally friendly way. Being in the city, it was also great to see how professional and respectful they were with our neighbors. They finished ON TIME and ON BUDGET and the final result was beyond our expectations. We can't wait to enjoy our garden this summer. Again, we couldn't recommend David and his team enough.”
